About

Three lines.
Fourteen products.

Apex Labs is an independent software shop. Fourteen products in three unrelated categories, published under one name so they sit in one place instead of fourteen.

Three lines of work

Productivity: Fraywire, Glideslope.ai, CivilXL, urIssue, Breaking Metrics and World in Conflict. Market research, AI news, construction management and task tracking. Four of them run on the Fraywire+ membership; two are free.

Games: Highway Sim, FieldOp, Roadway Builder, Big Builders and Slates. Simulation, strategy, physics and early-grade learning. All free, all in the browser.

Personal: Optic Nomad and RMAHD. A photography gallery and a personal page, kept outside the product lines.

The three families are independent of each other. They don't share a platform, an account, or a story. They're grouped here only because they come from the same shop.

Who builds it

Apex Labs is the work of one civil engineer with sixteen years managing public infrastructure across the New York metro and twenty-two years writing code. That background shows up mainly in CivilXL and Breaking Metrics, where the domain knowledge is the product. Everything else stands on its own.

Support

If something's broken or missing in one of the apps, say so. There's no ticket queue between you and the person who wrote it, so the turnaround is short. rmahd.com is the fastest route, and links out to Substack and LinkedIn.
